Welcome to the University of Pennsylvania Clinical imaging Core

 

The Clinical Imaging Core (CIC) is an NIH funded shared resource available to clinical trial PIs to facilitate the use of imaging in human subjects on clinical trials.  The CIC includes imaging expertise in MRI, CT, US, nuclear medicine/PET, and optical imaging.  The CIC also houses regulatory services for protocol development and submission, as well as a research coordinator staff who can provide services for managing patient flow, image warehousing, and CRF completion.  Finally, the image analysis program houses MD and PhD experts in image analysis, including basic morphologic tumor evaluation (e.g. RECIST), PET and SPECT image analysis, and advanced 3D image segmentation and volumetrics.
