Inclusion of Radiologists as Sub-investigators on Clinical Protocols

Radiology sub-investigators are usually not required when SOC imaging only is used in a clinical trial.  However, having a radiologist as sub-investigator is often a useful means to ensure expert oversight of imaging aspects of clinical trials, and may be required for experimental imaging studies.  Identifying radiologist(s) to serve as sub-investigators of clinical trials is at the discretion of the PI.  The CIC can provide guidance to investigators who are uncertain as to whether a radiology sub-investigator is required, and to identify the potential sub-investigators.
